The Observatory allows children to develop their investigative skills as they get up close to bugs and beasties that can be found in a bucket full of soil, leaf litter or pond water. View the contents of the Observatory from above or below through the shatterproof polycarbonate domes. The bottom dome lifts out for easy emptying and when not in use, the top dome locks everything in place with a long padlock.
Positive encounters with nature are important for both children and, in the long term, the natural world.
