Our 2012 Legacy Fitness Trails have been purposefully designed to aid in sports and fitness training, and to introduce children/ athletes to new and different movement patterns. There are a range of add on’s to add to your 2012 Legacy trail, from Playground Markings to Target Games and Ball Shoots, these can all be added at a later date, if needed, as more funding becomes available.
Put young people at the heart of the games and build your own legacy. Create an exciting fitness area which will encourage sports/fitness participation and values such as those in Get Set: Friendship, excellence, respect, courage, inspiration,
determination and equality.
“These fitness trails are a great way to keep school children physically active during semi-formal play and break times. Children can have fun and enjoy themselves whilst they increase their fitness levels and develop the skills they require for PE and sport. They are really helping us to achieve the target set out in the national PE, School Sport & Young People (PESSYP) strategy to ensure that every 5 – 16 year old child takes part in five hours of PE and School Sport each week.”
