Area Sales Manager (North)

The Company

Schoolscapes is a long established, well respected and creative company operating within the play and outdoor equipment sector. The continual growth and expansion of the company has brought about the requirement for a remote Sales Manager.

Requirements

Have a proven sales record within the play sector
Have experience of sales, predominately within the Education Sector, but also Local Authority, Parish Councils and the Construction Sectors
Be able to find, develop and expand business within a geographical area and across all sectors
A self-motivated individual with a record of high achievement
Be able to negotiate with Clients and close the sale
Good time management skills
Experience of conducting site surveys, design briefs and presenting to Clients
An understand of the curriculum and Ofsted requirements
Be an excellent communicator
Full, clean driving licence and an ability to work from home

CONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES (project based/part-time) AT SCHOOLSCAPES FOR EYFS/ KS1 AND KS2 CURRICULUM

Schoolscapes products have many uses in the school setting. We are looking for a consultant/s to assist us to advise teachers on how our products and designs can be used in the teaching of the curriculum and the implementation of education policies.

Teachers or Head teachers currently in-post or recently retired might like to consider working with us on a part-time consultancy basis.

Some examples of areas we are currently working on include:

Ways in which Schoolscapes products and services can help bring subjects alive through curriculum-links which help teaching and learning outdoors.
Deeper insight to the education curriculum to ensure that new product development focuses on the successful enhancement of learning through play.
Gain the insiders vision and knowledge into curriculum criteria and the challenges you are faced with in delivering successful outcomes.
Lesson planning – forming links to subjects.
Broader links to the curriculum e.g. funding initiatives and presentation (getting children involved).
Bureaucracy and process when embarking on play and grounds initiatives.
Physical exercise and the benefits linking to cognitive performance within the classroom.
Play narratives in the playground and how they contribute to children’s literacy skills.
