PHYSICAL PLAY

Introducing our New 2012 Legacy Challenge

Our 2012 Legacy Challenge has been designed to provide a creative approach to PE and not only encourage pupils not keen on traditional team activities, but also to reduce disaffection and improve engagement.

Physical Play encompases several aspects in the areas of learning and development:

  • Aspects of communication, language and literacy
  • Physical development
  • Creative development

Fresh air contains high levels of negative ions that have a positive impact on brain function, mood and wellbeing. Negative ions also promote the production of immunizing antibodies, which increase resistance to disease. Negative ions regulate the production of serotonin inside the brain, promoting strong brain waves that increase mental performance, alertness, concentration, creative thinking and problem solving. Good reasons for getting out in the fresh air!
