Schools and Education - Make IT Happy 2012

The Make IT Happy 2012 competition is offering cash prizes to UK primary schools carrying out projects that show how IT contributes to a healthier life for students, the school community or the wider community. All primary and junior schools in the UK are eligible to apply. The pupils must be in the age group nine to 11 years old.

A monetary award of £1,200 is available for each of the 12 regional winners (which includes Scotland; Wales; and Northern Ireland).

An overall first, second and third prize will offer an additional prize of:

First: £4,000.
Second: £2,500.
Third: £1,500.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 8 April 2012.

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 19 June 2012.
