TENSION STRUCTURES

Our waterproof structures use a 900gsm PVC fabric. The white fabric is supplied with a 10 year warranty and has an expected life-span of 30 years plus, while the coloured fabrics have a 5 year warranty and a life span of 12-15 years.

All of our PVC tension structures are designed to withstand a wind loading of 110mph and a snow loading of around 22kg of snow per m² (approx 100mm deep).

We always advise to check with your local council if planning permission is required for your structure. In our experience planning permission will be requires for:

• structures larger then 8m x 8m
• structures over 4m in height
• structures that are closer than 20m to any boundary.

Structures larger than 7m will require the use of a crane, which is 1.4m wide, for installation.

Where a crane is required for installation we would need photos and dimensions of the site and its access points. This will help us establish which type of crane is required and if it will incur any additional costs.
