St Erme with Trispen Primary School

We got quotes from a number of different companies for our playground development but chose Schoolscapes for several different reasons. Firstly, at the initial meeting to gain a quote the representative was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling. He discussed several different options to suit the needs of the school and budget and just seemed to get what we were trying to achieve. Secondly, he was friendly, approachable and clearly understood financial restraints that school find themselves in. Finally, he was able to offer support financially through gaining a lottery grant.

Schoolscapes where able to put us in touch with a company who provided a service to gain up to a £10,000 lottery grant to help fund a playground project in school. This was such a simple process, which involved an initial 20 minute phone call followed by filling in a couple of short forms and replying to a few emails. It cost the school 10% of the grant gained and was on a no win no fee basis. Gaining the grant meant that we were able to get a bigger piece of equipment for the playground.

We received several design options, which suited our needs and were also given the option to take aspects from each to design our own. We were also given examples of where the play equipment was already installed so we had a realistic idea of how it would fit into our setting.

The installation team who came to school were outstanding. They installed the equipment in January and experienced the full force of the winter weather during the week long installation. Throughout this they worked in a professional, friendly and dedicated way to get the job done as quick as they could. They took time out to talk to staff about how the process took place and time scales for completion.

From start to finish, I have found Schoolscapes to be an excellent company to deal with and I would happily recommend them to any other school.
